RETURNS AND SHIPPING POLICIES
Returns and Refunds
Every Permission to Pause Collection box is a limited, seasonal collection — once it sells out, it's gone for good. Due to this, and the nature of the items we include, we're unable to accept returns or issue refunds.
Not sure it's right for you or your gift recipient? Reach out before you buy. We're happy to share what's inside so you can feel confident in your gift - no surprises, no guessing.
If we made an error with your order, contact us and we'll make it right.
The no-return or refund policy applies to all curated boxes, including, but not limited to, The Permission to Pause Collection, The Hostess Collections, and future Collections.
Individual items that are in the original packaging and undamaged, may be returned within 7 days, excluding all shipping charges.

Damages and Missing Orders
If you received your order damaged, or if the order appears to be lost during shipping, always contact The Permission to Pause Collection first. Do not attempt to file a claim with the shipping carrier (usually UPS) yourself. We (The Permission to Pause Collection) will file a claim on your behalf, and a refund or replacement may be issued pending your cooperation during the claim process.
If your order arrives damaged, please save all packaging materials and damaged goods for claim evidence purposes. Notice of damage must be provided within 10 days of delivery.
Photos of damaged items and both inner and outer packaging will be required when disclosing damage. Additional photos may be required throughout the claims process and are your responsibility, as the recipient, to provide them.
Do not release any products or packaging to any other entity, including the carrier, repair estimate facilitator, etc., before consulting with The Permission to Pause Collection.
SHIPPING POLICIES
Tracking Your Order
Once your order has shipped, you will receive a tracking email within an hour. Please allow USPS/UPS up to 48 hours to reflect updates on their tracking page.
Delivery Times
All orders are processed based on the dates stated on the order and/or confirmation pages. Seasonal Collections will list in the description when we plan to ship. After that date, we need 2-4 days to process your order, and then 4-7 days for shipping. Sometimes, things beyond our control cause these items to be delayed and if so, an email will be sent to you.
You can choose to have a box delivered on a certain date, and we will do our best to have it delivered via UPS as close to that date as possible.
Individual items and year-round boxes ship within four days unless stated otherwise in your confirmation email.
If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Additionally, nationwide and global shipping delays (such as those caused by holiday volumes or inclement weather conditions) may have an impact on your estimated delivery date. If you need an item for a specific date, please let us know and we will do our best.
Service is subject to shipping delays. Delivery times are estimates and not guarantees. Our store is not liable for any delays that may occur once your order has been shipped.
Hand Delivery
If you are in the Beaufort, SC area, we will hand-deliver your box to your porch ( or arrange a pick-up if better for you). Of course you will not have a shipping charge, and there is no additional delivery charge. We will text you to confirm the date of delivery, which you can ask us to delay if needed.
Sometimes, we are able to hand-deliver in the surrounding areas (Charleston, Savannah, Hilton Head, Bluffton). If this is a possibility, we will let you know and refund your shipping charges if you choose this.
Shipping Charges
The cost of your Signature Permission to Pause Collection boxes has an additional flat $12.99 each season for standard delivery. The exceptions to this are shipping/deliveries to non-contiguous US states, Alaska and Hawaii. These shipping rates can change at any time, but will always be up-to-date on your purchase page.
Other Collections, such as The Hostess Collection, also have a flat rate, depending on the product.
Individual items have a separate shipping cost, also at a flat rate.
