Books to read, gift, & treasure

The Winter Collections includes at least one book, maybe two. One is fiction and is about four women at the crossroads of their lives. And, the author, who also hosts writing retreats, is going to do a private Zoom call with just our customers! That will be in early 2025.

Moments for Myself

To guide you through your quiet time (and yes, you need that!). This includes a beautiful notebook/journal, writing prompts, and thoughts to ponder.

You will also receive emails with encouragement, new affirmations, and resources to help you continue to find moments for yourself between now and the Spring Collection.

All items are curated from small, female-owned makers or business owners who create beautiful unique items you typically only discover or stumble upon in small shops and boutiques.

Once in a while, a larger brand or a fun guy might make a guest appearance, but it will be worth it!

The Permission to Pause Collection difference

We work hard to find the female and family-owned makers, owners, and founders. We believe in women supporting women and helping others sing their songs.

It’s not always possible, but we’re doing our best.

The printed Guide tells the stories of these small businesses, as we believe that others’ stories can inspire our own.

And we give you ideas of creative ways to use the items to find the calm in your everyday. And, even though we hope you never do, we give you ideas of ways to gift some of the items.

With everything we choose for each season’s box, we think, “how can this make someone’s everyday life a bit calmer & more beautiful?”

How can we discover ways to make everyday moments more special?

Quiet Time.

When we are quiet, remove distractions, and are still, we hear our best answers.
Why? Because they are within us. We are just typically so busy, hurried, and distracted that we never hear them.

A packet called Moments for Myself is in each box, and it is designed to help you hear yourself.

QUESTIONS + ANSWERS

  • For the holidays, we have two options - regular packaging ($200) and upgraded packaging wwith a gift box ($220, plus $12.99 shipping for both.

    The Winter Collection is a stand alone box, but starting with the Spring 2025 Collection, you will have the chance to subscribe to multiple seasons.

    We increased the number of boxes available this season, but if there are any still available after the purchase window closes at the end of November, thy will be available at a slightly higher price.

  • Of course! These boxes will make the perfect gift. If you decide to purchase one as a gift, you will see that as an option when you checkout on the sales page.

    Because of the holidays, we are offering a gift wrapping upgrade. Don’t worry - the regular packaging is fabulous once you open the box. This upgrade is if you want to have the recipient (or yourself!) put a pretty box under the tree.

  • All of our collections are perfect clients gifts. For Winter 2024, we are not customizing the items, but we want to work with you to make it as special as possible for your clients.

    As you may know, we don’t reveal the items before, as that is part of the experience. But, if you are buying multiple boxes for others, please reach out and we can go over the details with you! Just email Kimberly here (kimberly@thepermissiontopausecollection.com.)

  • You have the option to pay an additional $20 to have your items packed into a lovely white gift box with a beautiful ribbon and gift tag.

    This is perfect if buying as gifts for clients, if you just want a better aesthtic under the tree, or if you don’t want to deal with wrapping the larger shipping box (looking at you, husbands!).

    When you are on the sales page, you can choose either the regular box ($200) or the box with gift wrap ($220).

  • We offer delivery in Beaufort, SC, since that is where we are physically located. When you put in your address on the checkout page, the option to have it delivered will appear.

    We also are giving our customers in the Charleston, SC and Savannah, GA areas the option to pick their box up in person. This will be on a designated day in each city. There is no additional charge for this, and it saves you the shipping charge. The pickup dates will be either the week of 12/9 or the week of 12/16 and we will update it here as soon as we know.
